It began in Japan and is now one of the most popular spa treatments in the U.S. At Aqua Therapy, every head spa is performed by a licensed Master Esthetician and starts with a scalp analysis.

A salon shampoo cleans your hair. A head spa treats your scalp: it looks at the scalp first, exfoliates and detoxes buildup, applies treatment masks with steam, and adds extended massage. It's closer to a facial for your scalp than a hair wash.

Guests come for deep relaxation and stress relief, a cleaner and more hydrated scalp, softer, healthier-looking hair, and relief from neck and shoulder tension. A head spa supports a healthy scalp environment, but it isn't a medical treatment.

A head spa can support a healthy scalp environment by clearing buildup and improving circulation through massage, which is the foundation for healthy-looking hair. It does not treat medical hair loss. If you're experiencing sudden or significant hair loss, see a dermatologist.

Our head spa follows the Japanese tradition of scalp care and massage, with a water tunnel, steam, and nourishing masks, combined with Iryna's training as a Master Esthetician.

The Signature Head Spa is one hour. The Combined Head Spa & Glow Facial is 90 minutes. Massage pairings are about two hours.

Yes. Every head spa ends with an included 10-minute express light blow-out and go, so you leave with dry hair and can return to your day. Facial-only treatments don't wet your hair.

Our treatments are safe for pregnant guests, but if you are or may be pregnant, please check with your physician before booking. Let us know if you're pregnant or breastfeeding so we can adjust the products we use.

All products used at Aqua Therapy are silicone-free and paraben-free, and our facials are plant-based or organic.

Head spa treatments focus on the scalp, so they're designed around the person in the chair. Mention your hair type, extensions, recent color, or any scalp condition when you book so Iryna can adapt the products and steps.

You pay at your visit. eGift cards and gift certificates are welcome as payment.

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows and last-minute cancellations are charged the full price of the service, and future bookings aren't accepted until that payment is received.

We offer digital eGift cards through Square and gift certificates. An eGift card is bought online and delivered by email. Your recipient books any treatment and shows the eGift card at their appointment, where it's applied at checkout.
